    Farm Fresh Chef Personal Chef, LLC (referred to herein as FFC) is a personal chef business owned and operated by Norman Tiedemann II. FFC provides premade, ready to heat and ready to eat meals. The term 'CLIENT' encompasses any individual or entity responsible for the creation and procurement of any goods or services offered by FFC.

    PLEASE BE AWARE: BY PURCHASING ANY SERVICES PROVIDED BY FFC, YOU ARE AGREEING TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET FORTH IN THIS DOCUMENT.

    With respect to all parties involved, this business policy statement is furnished to all clients so they aware of FFC operation guidelines.

    FFC is not a practicing nutritionist or registered dietitian. FFC prepares meals ready for heating and consuming. FFC places a strong emphasis on local sourced food, organic and non-gmo food products, to provide clients with the highest quality meals. FFC is not licensed to provide nutritional guidance or medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment of any kind. For any health concerns, please contact your physician or health-care professional.

    ALLERGEN DISCLAIMER

    We prioritize the well-being and safety of our customers. While we strive to accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions, it's important for each individual to take responsibility for their own health and safety.

    Clients are responsible for identifying and communicating any allergies or dietary restrictions they may have. While we make every effort to provide accurate information about ingredients and allergens, please be aware that our kitchen handles a variety of ingredients, some of which may contain allergens.

    Ordering a specific product does not guarantee that it will be prepared allergen-free. Cross-contact with allergens is possible, even with careful preparation. Therefore, customers with severe allergies should exercise caution and inform our staff of their needs.

    ALL PRODUCTS ARE PRODUCED IN A FACILITY THAT HANDLES PEANUTS, TREE NUTS, SOY, EGGS, GLUTEN, DAIRY & SHELLFISH.

    Our production kitchen works with peanuts, tree nuts, soy, milk, eggs, wheat, and shellfish. While we take steps to minimize the risk of cross contamination, we cannot guarantee that any of our products are safe to consume for people with peanut, tree nut, soy, milk, egg or wheat allergies.

    FOOD PACKAGING DISCLAIMER

  • FFC UTILIIZES SINGLE USE, COMPOSTABLE (WHERE FACILITIES EXIST) CONTAINERS.

    DO NOT PUT ANY PROVIDED SINGLE USE CONTAINERS IN THE OVEN, OR IN OR NEAR OPEN FLAME. CLIENT ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY NEGLIGENCE OF THIS INSTRUCTION.

    FFC STRONGLY RECOMMENDS THE PRACTICE OF PERSONAL SANITATION AT ALL TIMES. WASH HANDS THOROUGHLY AND OFTEN FOR A MINIMUM OF 20 SECONDS AND AFTER HANDLING PACKAGING OR OTHER SURFACES. HEAT FOOD TO AT MINIMUM OF 165 DEGREES F.

    Ordering, Late Orders, & Fees:

    FFC will update the online client menu page on a weekly basis with highlights of seasonal and locally available produce and meats.

    Once updated and available, FFC will furnish clients with a link to the weekly updated online menu via email. Clients will choose their desired selections and quantities and proceed to the checkout page to pay for and thus confirming their order. The client will receive an order confirmation once an order has been placed.

    FFC is happy to, within reason, honor special requests tailored to your preferences and or your needs. You are provided with the option to “send a note to the chef” upon checkout. Here you may submit any requests, general comments, or any information pertinent to your order or delivery. 

    Special requests may be denied if deemed unreasonable. If a special request is accepted, the request may entail an extra fee. The rate, fee, or cost shall be presented by FFC to the client and agreed upon by the client prior to furnishing any special request that would incur such a charge.

    FFC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

    To ensure you receive the email and link. It is recommended that chef.norman@farmfreshchef.kitchen be added as a contact, as spam filters may affect the ability to receive weekly emails.

    Orders are required to be placed no later than 4pm on the Friday preceding the intended delivery week.

    Orders received after 4pm on Friday are subject to a minimum of a $15 late fee and no maximum. $15 fees may be charged directly to the client’s payment method. Fee’s larger than $15 will be sent as an invoice to the client via email. FFC reserves the right to cancel any order received after the 4pm order cutoff time.

    WEEKLY MENU LINK SECURITY & NEW CLIENTS

    New Clients: Upon the completion of the initial new client intake / sign up form, found here FFC will furnish clients with a weekly private menu link via the email furnished in the intake form.

    New menu links are sent upon the completion of the following week’s menu (typically Wednesday). These emails may be opted out of at any time.

    The menu portal is a private link furnished to established clients Only. If you feel inspired to share the services offered by FFC, please share the website information: www.FarmFreshChef.Kitchen DO NOT SHARE THE WEEKLY FURNISHED MENU LINK. The service FFC provides is a private service and all potential clients must go through an interview / application process to make certain FFC is accepting new clients and that this service is the best option for all parties involved. Thank you for your cooperation and enthusiasm.

    CHEF’S SERVICE & DELIVERY FEE

    This, fee ranging from $30-$56, is applied to each order placed. The cost of this fee is determined by the billing address zip code.

    The Chef’s Service Fee ensures that FFC is able to continue to provide the highest quality local, organic, and non-GMO ingredients, Delivery Service, and for all the hard work and dedication in creating satiating, mindful meals.   

    DELIVERY

    SOMEONE MUST BE PRESENT TO RECEIVE THE ORDER AT THE PREDETERMINED DELIVERY TIME AND LOCATION OR FFC MUST HAVE ACCESS TO PROPER REFRIGERATION FOR PROPER STORAGE.

    All coastal deliveries are delivered between 8am-10:30am

    All Peninsula deliveries are delivered between 10am-1pm

    FFC or it’s delivery persons will not enter client homes. Clients are expected to be home during the delivery window. If, upon delivery, there is no answer or response at the delivery location, the delivery person will leave the order in a shaded and obvious area at the primary entrance of the delivery location, take a picture of the delivered bag(s), and text the receiving client on the number provided on the “sign up form” a picture message stating that their order has arrived.

    Special Delivery Requirements and Accommodations: Clients requiring special accommodations for their orders are encouraged to communicate directly with FFC. The preferred methods of communication include email at chef.norman@farmfreshchef.kitchen or utilizing the 'Send the Chef a Note' section during checkout. FFC is committed to making every effort to accommodate special needs and collaborate with clients to find suitable solutions. However, FFC reserves the right to assess whether the needs or requirements of a special accommodation situation justify the associated costs or efforts.

    Client Responsibility as it Pertains to the Receiving of their Order: Clients are responsible for providing accurate and up to date delivery address, delivery instructions, contact telephone number(s), names of recipients, gate and access codes when applicable, environmental warnings or precautions (pets, construction, accessibility issues, etc). And all other elements pertaining to the delivery of their order in the designated delivery window.

    Delivery Refusal: If, upon delivery, the conditions are deemed to be unfavorable, the delivery persons shall bring the order back to the kitchen to be placed in refrigeration. Unfavorable environments are first determined by the lack of presence of the receiving client or an authorized recipient, other conditions that may determine if a delivery condition is unfavorable include but are not limited to; 1. The client not being home and the delivery person is unable to reach the client. 2. hot weather and no shaded area to place the order. 3. Construction 4. Public access to the delivery area / address. 5. Presence of animals, domesticated or wild.

    If a delivery condition should be deemed unsafe for the ordered food items, the order will be taken back to the kitchen and stored in refrigeration. The client may be charged an additional fee of no less than $20 and no more than $60 for a redelivery fee. This fee rate is determined by the delivery location, time of day, and conditions.

    Hot Weather Delivery: FFC does not use insulated bags.

    In the event of high and higher than normal temperatures, it is highly recommended that a chilled cooler be placed in an accessible area for you order in the likelihood you are unable to be home to receive your order upon delivery.

    Delivery time frames are given to allow for traffic or any other unforeseen occurrences that may potentially impact delivery time. In the event that your order is later than the agreed upon time frame, you will receive prompt notice via email, call, or text. Please be patient as we strive to meet all preset timelines. We appreciate your understanding.

    If you are unable to meet your chosen time window, please promptly contact FFC so proper accommodations may be made. A late arrival causing the delivery to be taken back to the production kitchen will ensue a minimum $20.00 fee.

    Just like you, our time is valuable and FFC is a full time operation and we will do our best to respect your time and requests and we appreciate you honoring the time, hard work, and dedication that goes in to the production of your meals.

    HEATING INSTRUCTIONS, SAFE STORAGE AND HANDLING DISCLAIMER

    FFC will furnish clients with heating instructions via email.

    Farm Fresh Chef Personal Chef, LLC relinquishes all responsibility once the food is delivered and or in possession of the client. Proper handling of the food is the client’s responsibility. The Client is responsible for any problems that may occur due to improper storage and or handling.

    All directions are guidelines for heating your food. All ovens are not made equally. Cooking times may vary. Directions provided are designed for conventional ovens. If using a convection oven or a convection setting, lower the oven temperature 25 degrees. This may also affect the cooking time.

    FFC does not endorse the use of microwave ovens as microwaves can greatly reduce the quality of your prepared meal.

    All fully cooked foods must be heated to a minimum of 140 degrees F.

    FFC recommends the use of a digital instant read thermometer. All Client’s must provide their own thermometers.

    All meats and seafood should be cooked to USDA internal cooking temperature guidelines.     Meats and seafood are prepared to order and may arrive raw or undercooked. Consumption of raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase the risk of foodborne illness.

    In the event of a product recall, Farm Fresh Chef Personal Chef, LLC cannot be held responsible for unforeseen circumstances, but we will make every effort to promptly inform all clients of any affected food items.

    FOOD SHELF LIFE

    FFC recommends consuming all fully cooked and prepared food with 5 days or receiving for maximum quality.

    FFC recommends consuming all fish or beef products within 2 days, if immediate consumption is not an option.

    If a food item smells “off” do not consume it. Contact FFC.

    FFC does not recommend consuming any foods past the recommended consume by timeline.

    FOOD CONTAINERS AND USAGE

    FFC uses, compostable single use containers. These are NOT recommended for oven use. Please heat food in oven safe conainers.

    The client acknowledges and accepts full responsibility for any incidents resulting from failure to adhere to the guidelines and suggestions outlined in this document of 'Terms and Conditions'.

  • Cancellation Policy

    Clients must directly contact FFC to cancel their orders. The following cancellation policy applies:

    1. Orders cancelled 72 hours before the scheduled delivery window will receive a 100% refund.

    2. Orders cancelled 48 hours prior to the delivery window will receive a 60% refund.

    3. Orders cancelled 24 hours before the scheduled delivery will receive a 30% refund.

    4. Orders cancelled within 24 hours of the delivery shall receive a refund only for the delivery fee.

    Please note that refunds will be processed according to the timeline outlined above, and any applicable refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the order.
